If you do not yet have a theme, but know that you love the idea of having favors with your favorite inspirational quote on it, consider something that your guests will use and read often. Remember that almost anything can be personalized, so whether its a deck of cards, a magnet, or a set of coasters, a little time and effort can transform anything.
There are two ways to distribute guest wedding favors. Wedding favors can be placed at each wedding reception guests place setting to take along whenever they leave or elegantly displayed on a table near the entrance to the wedding reception venue where the bridge and groom will be toward the end of the reception. As guests say goodbye to the couple, they can thank each guest for coming by giving them the favor or telling them to take one when they leave.
Another DIY wedding favor idea that is both fun and cost effective is to bake your own goodies. Throw a little cooking get-together the week before the wedding and invite a group of friends and family-members who love baking. Typically you will be surrounded with people willing to help, so dont be afraid to accept it. The only other thing you will need, other than the baking goods, is several packs of wedding favor containers. End the baking party with an assembly line for packing and sealing the favors, followed by decorating the favor containers to match the rest of your wedding accessories.
